This is a passenger side view of the Volvo VNL610 as it sits right now. Yup.......it's not very pretty.......I haven't even washed it! Lots to do, wheels to polish, forward bed to build, fenders to install.....lots to do.

This humble blog is an account of my travels, road trips to be specific using our trusty old 1998 VOLVO VNL610, and 2004 Mobilesuite 36TK3. The combination has been very reliable, and comfortable for my wife and I. We hope to continue travelling for many years. Our archives date back to October 2004, so have a look into our past.....

Hey Rick,
I stated that my front bummer is Chrome, but I believe that it really is Stainless Steel.
White was the first choice for me in truck colors. Then I saw Gold Rush and she had all of that stainless steel trim and shiny aluminum goodies. I told my wife I found our rig, she looked at the pictures and gave me the "it looks nice" about as much as can be expected, from my gal. So that started the ball rollin.
Plus Gold Rush was in Washington State, which somewhat close. I had my uncle who lives 75 miles away go drive her check her over and give me his thoughts. Then I sent it off to the Detroit diesel shop for a check/dyno.
