The Cardinal, Ont. KOA for Thanksgiving

Well, here we are just pulling in...
The Campground looks clean, and not too crowded.
That turned out to be true, and we highly recommend this little jewel in rural Ontario.
On Sunday We visited the marine locks in Iraquois, Ont. only minutes away.

Time to set-up camp..

Lots to do for me as we arrive, I like to do everything in one shot
Then I can get on to having fun & relaxing....

Thanksgiving weekend in Cardinal KOA

The campground is over-grown with tall skinny pine trees. A little tight for big-rigs.
Here we are neatly tucked away in our chosen site C-3.
The park is very clean, and the family run campground does everything possible to make our stay very special !
We have to congradulate Daniel, & his son Phil, as well as Amie, for doing such and outstaning job there.

October 6,7,8,9, 2006 In Cardinal KOA

The weather was just great, all week-end long.
Sunny & warm days, cool nights with lots to do.
Here Claire is catching up on her crossword puzzles after designing our pupmkins face.
Our site was great with few close neighbors.
All in all a memorable week-end to end our camping season of 2006.

The winner is......ME!!

Well, after Claire's artwork, and my carving handywork, when the votes got tallied....We were the distinguished winners of the Halloween Pumpkin carving contest.....

Clik on the pics and you might see the pine needle hair I added that was the crowning detail...

Thanksiving week-end and we're home...

Well, as with all good things, our last full week-end of camping has come to it's end....
We arrive home, and start the process of emptying out the Carriage of perishibles, and other stuff.
Load up our new Audi, and head to the house.
After the packing, I start the winterizing.
Looking forward to our trip south in January.....
